We will continue, to dedicate ourselves to create caring services of quality by ensuring that all our Support workers and Office team are trained and supported too the highest level, so all those we support can remain living in their own homes with choice, control and dignity.
Jayne Holloway Job role is Managing Director
Jayne passion is to provide good quality care that meets individual needs and not individuals fitting into services because that’s all that’s on offer
She achieves this by setting clear goals for the team that are custom to the service user’s needs
Jayne has been working in social care since 1976 with people of all different ages and complex challenges. During this time Jayne took on several positions, from Care worker/senior care worker to Managerial roles within the Social care sector. She had also set up her own domiciliary company and also worked for Cardiff Council in quality compliance role.
Jayne is a valuable asset to Pineshield as she has a vast and varied experiences working for the social care industry. With her past knowledge she is able to manage all the different roles that we offer here at Pineshield by making our day to day operations more efficient all while maintaining quality of our services at its highest levels.
Dean Morgan Job role is Workforce Capability Manager
Dean focuses his efforts on building up effective recruitment strategies and building a sector-leading training programme to support staff retention across the organisation.
Dean began his career in the Care industry as a domiciliary care worker in 2011, with a passion for helping people to live the best lives they could, moving on to a residential care home for adults with learning difficulties shortly after. With a developing interest in training & being able to help people make a change, Dean progressed to Administrative Manager where he cemented his love for training & being able to help others to achieve their goals. Dean was presented with an opportunity to develop his skill base further whilst working at a health and social care focused training company as Customer Service manager. Dean took on the role as head of the qualifications provision and used his background in health & social care to guide learners to completion.
Laura joined Pineshield in 2013 as a support worker. Over the past 4 years she has held a several roles with company and is currently responsible for staff development. Laura’s role is to support and supervise our support workers with any issues that might arise and is also responsible for providing manual handling training to staff.
She has been actively involved in a pilot scheme supporting individuals through re-ablement programs with the aim of reducing the need for ongoing care and improving independence.
Prior to joining Pineshield, Laura worked as an Occupational Therapist supporting hospital discharges with a variety of conditions. When she’s not supporting our dedicated employees Laura loves watching movies with a historical focus or filled with superheroes.
Nicola Williams
Nicola Williams Job role is Field care supervisor and responds to Sacha Southwell (Acting care Manager)
Nicola Williams Joined Pineshield in 2014 as care worker and moved up the ranks to become field care supervisor. With her experience and knowledge as a care worker she is able to make strategic improvements to areas where she saw potential when she was working as a carer.
Her role as field care supervisor is to work with other health professionals so that the service users receive the highest level of care and support. She is also in charge of communicating with carers about changes relating to the care plans and the service users needs.
In her free time Nicola likes to remain active and spend time with her family and friends.
Hannah Jones
Hannah Jones Job role is HR Recruitment and responds to Jayne Holloway (Operations Director)
Hannah joined Pineshield at the beginning of 2018 bringing a background in co-ordination and facilities management from her previous role. Hannah’s responsibility has seen her take on responsibility for Staff Development & Recruitment Co-ordinator. Her role is to support and supervise our current Support workers with any concerns they may have, she is also responsible for recruiting new staff.
Outside of work Hannah enjoys socialising and taking day trips.
Laura Dalton
Laura Dalton Job role is HR and finance and responds to Jayne Holloway (Operations Director)
Laura joined Pineshield in 2015 as an administration assistant through the Jobs Growth Wales scheme. Her hard work and diligence has seen her role expand to that of HR & Finance Co-ordinator.
As a religious studies graduate, Laura enjoys reading about many of the world religions embraced by our diverse, multi-cultural customers.
Sumitha joined Pineshield in 2008. She is a highly professional management accountant (CIMA) who brings a broad range of skills and expertise developed whilst working for blue chip multinationals and smaller organisations in the financial services, manufacturing and retail sectors.
In her role as Accounts Manager, Sumitha has responsibility for managing the company finances and is particularly focused on ensuring a good working relationship with care funding bodies and building strong relationships with our team of support workers.
When not running a tight financial ship at Pineshield, Sumitha enjoys travelling and walking.
James Dwyer Job Role is Chairman
James Dwyer’s passion is to be an innovator in Health and Social Care. Innovation in this area to him involves people, technology and workforce development. Through his businesses and interactions with people in the industry, he looking to help the Health and Social Care sectors integrate and hence transform their value to their communities.
He achieves this by looking to meet & work with people who want to effect this change quickly, in a cost-effective manner while still looking to achieve better health & wellbeing outcomes.
James has worked for 17years in the health and social care sector, 9 years in medical software and prior to that to telecommunications and Information Technologies
He plays a key role to Pineshield as he offers the business experience for driving the direction of Pineshield and the wider Health and Social Care community
